Are you are doing something that you know you shouldn’t be doing or just feeling bad without reason? If you are, your problem is in the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is the mind below our conscious awareness and is sometimes referred to as the inner mind. You can check it’s a subconscious problem by saying to yourself “stop behaving like this you fool!” and see if anything happens. But, I imagine that you’ve already tried that and probably nothing changed, so it must be a subconscious problem!
So if you can’t just tell yourself to ‘stop it’ what do you do? Well you could ignore it, try to push through it, sedate yourself, distract yourself, hide from it, blame someone else, suppress it or just plain accept it.
Or you could work within the subconscious mind to find out what’s causing you to feel the way you do. There must be a reason because you weren’t born feeling this way.
Hypnosis allows a therapist to work directly with the subconscious mind where these beliefs are maintained and where habits reside. Once found and processed these unhelpful beliefs and behaviours can be changed so that you can lead a life more conducive to happiness. The critical part of you that prevents change is placed to one side in hypnosis so good suggestions are more likely to be accepted by the subconscious mind.
