Help for children with anxiety

Getting help for teenage anxiety can be a nightmare for any parent. Trying to cope with a teenager suffering with an anxiety disorder is a frightening ordeal. That terrible feeling of helplessness can be overwhelming and therapy can be difficult to get and extremely slow through the NHS. Using Hypnotherapy for teenagers with anxiety issues is a fast and effective way to recover.

I am seeing more and more teenagers for school related anxiety and panic attacks these days. Luckily Children make good hypnotic subjects and respond really well to hypnotherapy. Changes can be made very rapidly and once the cause of the anxiety or panic is discovered and processed they can return to normal.
Starting a new school can cause a great deal of anxiety for many children. Having to make new friends, moving away from home, facing up to bigger workloads, exam pressures, peer pressure and raging hormones are a recipe for developing anxiety disorders and panic attacks.
Feeling like you don’t fit in or being bullied can lead to low self-esteem, social anxiety, IBS and eating disorders like anorexia and bulimia. These problems quite often follow on into adulthood and plague people for the rest of their lives..
The usual way of dealing with anxiety issues are with medication and conscious therapies like CBT, psychotherapy and counselling. There can be unwanted side effects from medications and unless you pay privately for therapy you may find yourself waiting weeks getting help with NHS wellbeing service. The other problem is that conscious therapists teach their patients to ‘rationalise’ their thoughts and teach coping strategies to use ‘after’ the anxiety has started.
These therapies can takes months and be hit and miss because they address the conscious, logical part of the mind. Anxiety disorders and panic attacks are emotional problems associated with the subconscious mind. The emotional, subconscious mind is vastly more powerful than the conscious mind and will ‘always’ win in a battle of wills. Hence why children with anxiety feel out of control.
A fast, effective way of dealing with these disorders is to use hypnosis to tap into the subconscious mind. Once a connection is made negative beliefs and unhelpful programs can be addressed and changed without conscious critical interference.
If you have a child suffering from anxiety or panic attacks you really should be looking into Hypnotherapy as a fast and effective way to deal with them. It really doesn’t take very long.
